thats what i said!"the surface tension of water forms it into a sphere" because there isn't any force pulling on it, and there is nothing in the way to flatten the sphere, so it forms a perfect globe of water the zero g enviroment allows them an ideal enviorment to observe the surface tension, the only time that happens on earth is in free fall and thats a lot harder to observe

actually its the surface tension of the water that makes such nice spheres. If the tension wasn't as high as it is, it would be more blobs.
