i did it with a B-747-400 in FlightSimX... no overstress msgs and the plane answered well... but i don't think so in real life ...

In the 80´s, a brazilian pilot named Carlos Casarin, did it flying a 727 cargo Transbrasil, during a flyght from Manaus to Rio.

guys' like that are what inspire me,,,what an incredible pilot,,,wish there were more around,

you need to use all inputs like a rudder, aileron and elevator to execute this co-ordinated so that it the aircraft remains at 1G. Flight Sim is not accurate.
TwoBitBob (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
This is a 1G manoeuvre, so the wings were not stressed at all.

TechMaven (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
By a barrel roll? It's able to fly through a thunderstorm, how could a simple roll hurt it?
Nerdbomber01 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
im surprised that 707 didnt get over stressed
