I have heard that a Swedish JA37 Viggen fighter back in the 80s locked a missile at a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, to come close to the Blackbird the Viggen fighter dived from a very high attitude. The pilot received a couple of weeks later a granulation card from Pentagon, hehe
