Try an 11.1v 12c 1200mah lipo, improves headspeed and lasts longer. :)

Do you get anymore flight time with the lipo compared to the original battery pack?

Nothing! Just connect a 2S (7,4v) battery and go. You'll notice less power with lipos than with Ni-MH, but you will make the heli lighter.Enjoy!

good flying! when you changed to the lipo battery pack, did you have to change anything else on the heli?

this is an exellent heli. but caution non experience pilots ca turn in the few first try onto a disapointment you will need a little of basics heli movement and how to react for a god flying. is not a heli that you just truttle up and gets a hover, take a little more than that. and exellent heli for do that just hover by truttle up is the blade cx2 that heli just go were you want. very ease to fly for first time.

Hummm.... dificult cuestion. I've been flying airplanes for years. For sure that helps. Before trying this helicopter I spent many hours practising with the simulator. This was my 10th flight or so with this helicopter.
