Amen to that, rush it, and the engine will make you wait and do it properly.

Nice video and sound job, it sounds beautiful with nice speakers + subwoofer. Although I do have to say the godawful corporate logo and Austrian flag completely ruin the appearance of an otherwise beautiful and historically important fighter plane.

haha splendid picture: enter the old rugged Skyraider!A-1, no nonsense, and fighting BEFORE the tables have turned!

I love the sound of the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 as well. It really is really to bad that he had so much trouble starting the engine!!!!

I worked ever so briefly on the Spad or "Sandy" as they were called back in '68. It was a flying dump truck; look at all those wing stations for me to mount ordnance on!! Love the Corsair also; never had the chance to work on them, sadly. Both are beautiful machines from a by-gone era.

Yes but thats because the ground crew would have done an engine run up in the early morning so the engine would be easier to start for the pilots. I wonder how cold it was as that may have made it harder to start.

It's a good job they didn't have to scramble in a hurry to intercept an incoming raid if it takes that long to get the thing going. You just need to crank a Merlin over a couple of revolutions and it's away.

That engine is the most beautiful engine sound i have ever heard.
