sounds like everyones just talking shit and doesnt know what they are talking about. this isnt the reinvention of the "wheel". what wimax gives us is a true high speed mobil connection. 5 to 8 meg downloads on a pc card!?!? come on! nokia is already getting behind this in a major way, they have made portable internet devices no larger than a cell phone to work with this technology. this is going to be awesome!!!

Wi-Fi all over again.. When are these idiots going to stop reinventing the wheel and learn that closed networks are largely irrelevant and that protocols mean everything.Mesh wireless is the only way to go.
