fantasy!
HORNEBEEDUBLO (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Good idea. The motors will run cooler as well.

oh absolutely, I have found modern Hornby motors to be totally lacking in lifetime!I recently put new magnets in my Dublo class 20 and N2 and they are transformed. Other locos are in the pipeline for the new magnets (ten times stronger than the originals!)
HORNEBEEDUBLO (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Well at least they have lasted much much longer than today's current 'throw away' can motors.
matthewpeter (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I love the way you presume that without even looking at the motors. Those locos are running as well as any other Dublo loco in good order.

motor1218 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
no! Lionel has nothing to do with it, these trains in video are Hornby 3rail 00 gauge,1938-63,and in 1:76 scale UK only. Track gauge is same as H0 in the states. In addition, Hornby Dublo made trains for 2 rail working after 1959 to 1963.
HORNEBEEDUBLO (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The armature inshulation on this Hornebee Dublo has been burned off, that's why it doesnt run well. Try 3M Scotchcast and rewind!

I haven't got a clue what you're talking about.
