Walt Disney was a fan of Krazy Kat, so the early Mickey Mouse cartoons remain reminiscent of the greater work, at least to me. Charles Bukowski always hated Mickey Mouse, and his work is better than this. Mickey Mouse is always amusing, but never really funny to me. I like the early Mickey cartoons better when he has more emotion than the later, where Mickey seemed to present this 'aw shucks, right wing Christian agenda' in order to sell, sell, sell. Peanuts has more value.
