Happiness is brief (the worlds soul in pain) but if we believe in a better day ("If I can dream") and fight for justice, suddenly my lover will be in our arms tonight and all is perfect! (Harder task to write a happy go lucky tune without common places or clichés than a sad one. Lennons God, The Byrds Turn, turn from "The Good Book", Niel Young's searchs a Heart of Gold, If You Believe by Cher but thats an archievement here, a unique country ballad credo: I believe in freedom.

Musically very catchy in its happy rhytm with super Steel Guitar sound. Lyrics are not obvious (good you avoided cliché verses as the kitsch "peace and love, no drugs")so I believe the song has all the elements for a hit, getting to the choir "Freedom" with the beautiful female voice! Family, music; but also friendship thanx to you all -A time to believe in poetry and hope ("...to every purpouse under Heaven").

When I read your post I couldn't help but think of the Rush song Freewill. One of the main lines in the song is exactly what you said, "I will choose free will." Listen to the song and you'll hear what I'm talking about. ;)
