I adore my D-550 - The D50/550 have such a beautiful and characteristic sound which is made even more so by large amounts of harmonics caused by aliasing in the low bit resolution the DACs. Something a soft emulation is never going to mimic properly. It must go down in history as having some of the finest factory presets on any synth ever produced. The infamous Amiga ST-01 sample library for SoundTracker heavily utilised D50.

thanksthe D550 sound is a little bit different to the D50. I us a little bit reverb from the Behringer Virtualizer effect module.

I mean my synth sounds too mono and like sounds that are sampled on low resolution (small number of bits).

Nice music! Tipically Roland D50/D550 sounds! I would like to know if you have routed the audio signal from the D550 output through something else like an effects module. I own a Roland D50 and the sound that it produces when I'm playing it it's not so clean like in your video, although I use the same (low quality) speakers.

I'm interested to in the PG-1000 controller! It's your offer still actual? How much are you asking for it?
