It is a Lear 31, you can tell by the winglet, the lear 60, as well as the later 31a have a different winglet.

OK, once and for all. This plane is a Lear 31. I fly Lear 20, 30, series and Lear 60's. This plane has the long horn wing, with the TFE731 engines = Lear 31 As for rate of climb, probably about 4 to 6 thousand fpm sustained on an average day, and a lot more in a zoom climb, I've seen about 14,ooo fpm using a calculator because the VSI does not read that high. Yes, Lears are VERY fun to fly. A pilots plane. Especially the 20 series.

I'm so claustrophobic and I hate the loud noise! This is why I prefer First Class.

I thought they could do like 4500fpm? I can do 2000fpm in my Cherokee Six in the winter... but.. not at 250 knots. |
