@sbrushfan I feel the same way. Music has lost it's emotional and spiritual substance. Most of the new music on the air makes me angry and regressful.It's all about i got this n that, my breaking acking heart, i wanta sleep with you,The good new ones are being bullied off the radio

@shay31470 I watched MTV the moment it first aired, waiting on my parents satellite receiver to lock into the channel. The first person that I remember seeing was Alan Hunter telling us what this channel was going to be about. Even remember the first two videos that aired (Buggles and Pat Benatar). The old MTV will share fond memories for all of us who really made it. And yes, Head Bangers Ball was a fave of mine too! I think it was on Friday or Saturday nights, watched it before partying!
