The Q400 is a fine A/C to be flying on. Was on one last Tuesday, perfectly pleasant (plus a ground speed of 560mph! *not a typo*). Rough landing we had but that was down to high crosswinds at BHX. Never experienced any noticable virbations...definately not more than any jet A/C i've been on.

the airline is flybe, who are the largest operator of Q400's. When they say quiet, they mean turboprop quiet, they still make one hell of a noise, I always take my noise cancelling headphones if I'm going on one of these

lol!!!gudluck for your flight then. for me it's a really cool plane, but too much noisy and more vibration. god you're so brave, i wont go on a flight alone when i was 14 :)have a nice flight! |
