I love the credits music for this game (just beat it and looked up this video because I wanted a friend to listen). I have absolutely no idea what the hell that instrument is supposed to be synthesizing, but I like it. It's sorta obnoxious, but it grows on you.

I wouldn't be surprised if this boss' name was revealed to be, "Eris," as in the Greek Goddess of Dischord.

I don't much care for the boss either, but at least this final boss puts up somewhat of a fight, unlike in the Gradius games...The bad thing here though, is if you get to the boss and die, you're pretty much screwed, as there aren't enough powerups in the second half of the stage to deal with the relentless onslaught of enemies.
