Crysis was intended to be run in Vista with DirectX 10. You probably have a pretty old rig in order to think that way. No way XP is better than Vista for gaming. XP doesn't even have DirectX 10. I built a system with a quad and SLI video cards running Vista x64 and it runs like a dream.... After Playing in DirectX 10 there is no way you'll want to go back. XP just doesn't cut it for the newest games any more. Deal with it.

you don't need a quad core to run vista smoothly. A good dual core and good (not cheap) motherboard with 2 GB or more ram and it works wonderfully. Check your settings and update your drivers. Vista has gotten very reliable now.

Guys guys guys, I have vista and vista is very good but when you play games, vista gets slowing down on fraps,but it looks nicer. But if you play on XP then your game work more faster than Vista
