I've only been on second life for about a week or so and I've already learned how to build structures. This game is awesome! :-)

This technology can be used in other games as well. I can see the possibilities in, well, any game that uses photorealistic graphics.

I agree, this is the game where YOU can make the world! It's really easy and only takes about an hour or so to pick up how to build and alot of the other characters are very friendly, i suggest if you want to learn how to build you should visit a "sandbox"

If you aren't familiar with second life... it's not your average game. Avatars, building, scripting and other content are created by the players, so alot of how the game looks, depends on the content being created by the players themselves.

If that's the case, it should have been where you left it and you could have logged back on and finished it. (Unless you were in a sandbox, in which case you should have been saving/making backups, as sandboxes clear out automatically every so often) Any game can crash... even the best designed high price games can, for a number of different reasons.
