You were implying that LeMans cars are changing to diesel cause they are faster, i gave you a valid reason why they may be NOT. The production of biodiesel is creating a worldwide tendence to get diesel cars, since the gas prices are raising more and more as the time goes. In even conditions, there's none diesel capable of beating a gas engine, thats an universal truth. Also, you cannot compare the performance of an engine running on a 925kg car, with the one running on a 2355kg car.
