In syndication, this scene doesn't begin until Dr. Blake tells Penny to wiggle her fingers. In fact, I'd never seen this scene before until I saw it on DVD. Equal parts hilarious and sad at the same time. Ja'Net Dubois at her finest!Note: DO NOT ask me to upload entire episodes. The answer will always be NO! Take your cheap asses to the video stores and support black media!

They did it for the plot, it would have turned out much different if they had not.

It's possible that it might not have been the law at that time (emphasis on MIGHT). Additionally, the doc never looked at Penny's back or arm, which doesn't say much about him as a doctor.

That's not true. Doctors DO have an obligation to report any suspicion of child abuse or neglect. Just like teachers. A child with that much injuries in real life would not have left the hospital without a social worker being called.

Right. "Good Times" had six seasons, and the easiest way to get your clips yanked offline is uploading a bunch of clips from the same show, let alone the same season. That's why I try to keep mine under five minutes, and no more than two scenes per show. But with syndicated shows, that's kind of hard to do.
