I love Fire and Ice. I have the special edition DVD. I have a lot of obscure american animation on disc. I'm fascinated by piecesthat were releasedas features in the U.S. outsie of Disney. I think Titan A.E. is aging well despite the cheesy music and being a major disappointment upon release.

Yeah, Starchaser and Transformers are pretty good examples of animation. I just watched Fire and Ice last night for the first time.

It's from the movie "Heavy Metal" which you can rent or buy anywhere DVDs are found.

Those three movies affected me quite a bit as well. I've watched them all countless times. I also learned a lot about animation from Starchaser The Legend of Orin (very interesting feature length american animation), and Transformers: The Movie.

For me there are three animated movies that have made impact on me as a moviegoer: Akira, Heavy Metal, and Ghost in the Shell.

It's supposed to follow the style of the magazine, which back in those days was fantastic

What HORRIBLE animation. I could do better with a#2 pencil and a notebook. |
