I have also this to say, it's really so damn refreshing to hear the USN guys speaking on the VHF when you are in Iranian waters or near them, it just feels like that some1 that cares is nearby, and it also makes you feel that the "Guards of the Revolution" can't just board your vessel and do something retardedly stupid, b/c they will get their asses kicked. Some times I just want to say hello, but you can't just call them and say "Hi guys how is it going". So, I am saying "hello" here.

Those Iranian Guards of the revolution speedboats are so damn annoying. Pray that you are not bound for an Iranian port or that you are not a Container Ship's Officer. They spam VHF CH 16 alllll the time, "NE bound Container ship in posn XXXXN XXXXE, at a spd of 25 Kts. Iranian Guards of the Revolution Speedboat calling you on CH 16". Ffs, they are so annoying you can't do your watch properly with them spamming 16, and then you got the other guys too who play Arab/Iranian music on 16.
