Mama Afrika, thank you for the undying gift of yourself and your voice. Although your activism cost you so much, you continued to give. Your voice has been so powerful that no government nor record company could silence it. Even in death, when the powers that be held your funeral at an unpopular venue during working hours so that those you championed could not come to you, the world responded.
