Very good movie, I'll give you that. But there's too many scenes with Jack Nicholson compared to Heath Ledger.

I think people may prefer Heath's Joker a lot more because of how dark the Joker was and it was because of Nolan's style..he wanted that sinister/dark/eerie look to the Batman films. Tim Burton obviously had a different image to his Batman movie and therefore may have influenced Jack's path towards his Joker character

Jack represented the Joker. He showed what the Joker is like...Heath, instead, WAS the Joker. He lived and breathed that character. Both approaches are acceptable by an actor's choice to their craft and they may have made those choices because of the storyline, Director's image/style to the film, etc.....to be continued

You can't say that which one is "a better joker". You just can't. Both Joker's were very different, yes they were the villian after Batman but they had different personalities and physcology. Jack and Heath are amazing actors and played their characters to perfection, however, their approach to their Joker was different and its due to a number of things;......to be continued

ppl wudnt like jack as much in this age. hes classic so u gotta give him props and he had nothing to work w/. first batman. but i think heath was better. i like the movie very dark and i think of joker more as a psycho. Heath FTW

Don't blame Nicholson. He didn't create the character or the film. Blame Tim Burton. Jack Nicholson owns Heath Ledger's track record (Easy Rider, Chinatown, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest, The Shining and so fucking much more) but Ledger was given a better part to play. I don't think they can be compared. If Nolan directed both films, however...
