Ec have never said that SRV was better,but he said that BB King is the most important bluesplayer in all historie, according to his autobiography. Next, there is no best guitarist in the world, there is different styles, so it´s a matter of taste. In my bluesbook I prefer EC, Peter Green, Buddy Guy,Freddie King and BB King

Clapton also is extremely humble. Just because he said SRV was better doesn't make it true. I'm a huge fan of both..personally I couldn't say either is better than the other but you have to think about who is saying that before you use it as an argument.

Man, whats that?!i've neveer rlly liked blues style.. but.. after BB King, Budddy Guy.... but erci clapton... it's the best..also the both , bb and BG are great! but thsi one.. fk off! GREAT man!

Its amazing how Eric Clapton cvan transfer his feelings to his fingers. Sometimes it looks as if he is going to cry, others as if he is angry.

Absolutly!. Clapton just puts all of his feeling into it. At some points he looks like he is going to tear, other times he looks as if he is going to kill...Just amazing how he transfers his feelings to his fingers.

The most amazing think about EC is that he knows so, so, so many different licks. It's not like he's playin' the same thing over and over, he can play it forwards, backwards, upside down and sideways, that takes a lot of practice, soul and God given talent...

your 100% right, there are talented guitarists and different styles. Some like the mother,some like the daughter ! EC is one of my favorists, especially when he played with Cream + Derek and the Dominoes.Ps. If you love the blues then check out Peter Green "worried dream", pure class ! |
