Work still needs to be done, but this is very impressive. It might not be too long before technology like this is practically incorporated into photographs.

I use 3D Max and Photoshop as well. I am currently using Google Earth, 3D Max, Sketchup and Photoshop to recreate the small town I grew up in.

If the person who did this put the origional photo in the far back we would not see the black cutout which is likely just the colour his 3d program was set to render in.Sorry...this long winded response was for SunnyShawFilms.
