its the 68 charger they had to upgrade the mustangs engine to even catch up with the charger and the charger was bone stock! Chargers rule!!!!!!!

some...when he over shot that turn and had to back up the production decided bud ekins should handle most of the rest...you know, mcqueens pal that jumped the fence in 'great escape'...

The "baddie" who is seen driving the black Dodge Charger is in fact doing the driving for real.He's the late Bill Hickman,a stunt driver.But is McQueen doing HIS driving for real,I wonder?

Wow @ 1:13. Some 40 years later and they still have that same live axle problem. Oh well, they were built to drag race not handle. Still bad ass!
