(I have modified it several time - unsuccessfully. But I didn't do green photodiode - because I knew that if I disconnect it, the diode will be disabled.)

I have tried on RadioShack green laser pointer - nothing cool happened, anyways. (Because of green laser monitor photodiode mounted near the IR filter, which in turn reflects the green laser onto it - if you disable it, it will basically not light the laser up, because I know there are locking mechanism on the chip which restrict the wattage modification.)So, don't waste time trying this on RadioShack green laser pointer.

i took the lens eout of a laser straight and did the same thing it was extremely hot and i even could ignite lighter fluid from about 10 feet away XD
