The film is extremely difficult to get. I don't think the film has been released on video or dvd. I think the only way you can get 'All This And World War II' is on film reels.

I saw this movie in either late 1976 or early 1977 during my freshman year of college at a theater in Westwood, CA. It actually left quite an impression on me. Of course, I was a a Beatles fan, but what I walked away with was an overwhelming sense of unnecessary loss in WWII. At the time I was required to keep a daily journal in my English 101 class at school. I still have my notes about watching this movie and what my impressions were.

In WW1, poison chlorine gas was introduced in 1915; in fact as far as cruelty towards soldiers, WW1 was far worse then WW2. Hitler recalling the experience, refused to use this tactic in WW2 against enemy soldiers, except for the Gas Chambers and in secret, until the end of the war. Point? WW1 contained no humor, or at least far less.
