I live here in the Jackson Mississippi area and got to watch this guy his senior year in high school. Lanier HS played South Gwinett GA with a NBA prospect playing for them named Louis. Monta showed out. Hit the shot to go into overtime and then when they were down by 10 points with 1 minute left in OT Monta went on a rage, with NBA scouts watching, and brought them back for the win (mostly everyone had left the gym thinking it was already over). I knew this guy was a star then!!!

fool you dont know shit monta came rite out of high school and INSTANTLY he showed greatness. he would smash on kevin martin. o and how u were saying he wont do as good without baron davis. now he is the 2nd option for the warriors behind jackson so his numbers r going to go up for sure. when he is healed from his injury he is gonna help out the warriors so much and his stats r going to go up for sureim not saying hes a superstar but i am saying he will smash on kevin martin

Spewing homer filled post don't make you credible it just makes you sound biased. Monta is not a superstar dude that is FACT no hating I love his game but he's not a superstar like you claim he is. Even the biggest Warrior homer will cosign my statements. Also what makes Ray Felton a no name? because he's slept on because of Paul and Deron's success? monta's younger and is already been better and monta is still gettin better, martin has hit his peak. monta is unstoppable, martin on the other hand. yeahhh. martin can't play defense to save his life, hes a shooter thats it, one dimensional, monta can rebound shoot, pass drive, get steals. nuff said
