Right now, you can get the plane and two esc's and two motors for 250, they dropped the price or added electronics

E flight makes a very nice p38 kit but its rather exspencive to get up and flying you may want to look into it for a next kit also i read the comments about NiMH and LiPo and although the LiPo bats are much more $ they have none of the negitives no memory real nice vid tho i liked watching

No problems with the shafts yet after approx 200 crashes on trees, fences, parking cars or solid ground. As the shafts aren't fixed directly to the motor replacement should be easy. Only lost a few wheels on hard landings ;-)

Thanks for info :) ..are prop-shafts bending(on landing) or replacing them a problem with this plane?

In fact the problem is the batteries. No matter of 6,4 or 7,2 V it's more about the maintenance. My advice: Learn about the right way of loading and unloading them before use and a suitable battery charger. Never discharge completely, don't overheat, loading currents and all that stuff ;-)

Cool Thanks! I've been looking at a very similar model..EPP foam,NiMH, 19in.wing span etc.. I'll probably get it after seeing this..I love rc warbirds that fly well :) |
