Used to have this LP. Great songs, harmonies w/Gram and Chris. They had a great sound AND check out EmmyLou Harris! She's still as hot in 2008.

I'll tell you what, I haven't heard anything as far as country since the 70's. Nobody remembers what it really is I suppose. Too bad.

Cool, but that said, there's some very good roots/Americana stuff around though, the best for a generation , and less of that pernicious Nashville corporate shit goin on neither to spoil it. My only fear here in the UK is that there are becoming far too few venues for this music... it's political over here I guess... too many idiots would rather have their kids watch tv...

Yeah, I know. I was referring to the more traditional stuff, as well as the crap that passes for country these days.

Adam , then you are a fan ;-)

I love this song. I'm not a huge fan of country music, but I love Johnny Cash, Willie, Waylon, Kris, etc and I love Gram Parsons, the Flying Burrito Bros., and the Byrds.

- word, that's a huge marketing inadequacy though right there. These geniouses should have prevailed. ;-)

sorry, another spell check, isle should be aisle. OK folks, move along, nothing to see here, keep it moving.

Gram was a genius and a tormented soul

Correction on grammar follows; 'there' should have been 'their'. Spellcheck on isle three. Spellcheck on isle three, thank you. |
