Sorry for the spam. I'm trying to respond to coolhand12guage's response about taurus being adopted after HK removed themselves from our operations in the middle east.

There are some things that are incorrect about your statement. The special forces mostly use HK USP Compact Tactical (threaded). The special forces are dropping HK because HK deemed our involvement in the wars unethical so they no longer support our use of their firearms. They did not stop using HK pistols and rifles because of performance. It's because of international affairs. The army is using berettas still.Taurus does not have a pistol that competes with a mk23. Not even close to close.

I have a 24/7 in .45 acp.It took a while to get the "sweet spot" on the trigger, but I really like this weapon. The downsides are..The stock sights is horrible and mags are costly.Change the sights and you have a reliable sidearm!!

I bought a Taurus PT-92 in 1985, great gun, Also got a PT-22 and a PT-911. Taurus makes a great product, I have found their quality to be as good as my Colt and Smith & Wesson pistols, People who bad-mouth Taurus are misinformed.

Or you could just practice when you are bored at home. That is what I do. I put in a good movie and clean the gun and then practice with the saftey and reloads. fast is smooth, smooth is fast

Great point on the saftey. If you must have a saftey practice practice practice taking it on/off during your normal shooting exercises |
