Now that I've seen Plastic Bertrand himself on YouTube lip-synching this song on TV programs of the time, I see that (despite the New Wave-ish sound of this song) he was actually rather clean-cut and tasteful. Not punkish at all, with his white jacket and the red flower in his buttonhole. Well, with spandex pants too, I will admit.
