great how the bass seems to be doing a single not bassline and a lead melody at the same time. I have one of those Rickenbacker basses too. Well, its similar, not identical.

I can't remember if this was "something else" or the "oxford road show" it was on BBC2 and I'd tuned in to watch the Jam who were also appearing. I was stunned by Ian Curtis's performance and just couldn't get it out of my head for ages . I think that's because he meant it so much.

my comment wasn't directed at you to be honest.so im not arguing with you like.im just saying its not about the way he sings itits just the lyrics people should listen to.and he didnt intend to be a role model, he started a band for the sake of getting out of macclesfield.if your not a fan of this type of music or the way he sings it or whatever, don't waste your time listening to it.i, on the otherhand like it.
