Glad you like the layout, funny how the trains seem to run faster on vidio, but also as I am shooting the movie no one is opperating the train controls, and these older locos do speed up as they warm up.

Hi ECDT1089 I use a lead tape pick-up on the 3rd rail, as the loco passes over it a short burst (or 2) of power is sent to a 6v relay. This in turn passes a short burst of 12v to operate points, signals, or further latching type relays (for continous 12v power). regard Ron.

great layout there mate, i like your n2 tanks. my dad has 1 of the dublo 4mt tanks and a class 20 diesel, may put them in one of my videos.

Howdy our neighbour just gave us a box with the a Hornby train the LNER 9596 and 3 rail track plus a box with new Junction Signals Upper Quadrant and new Buffer stops I don't think they were used. Lot more in the box cars people. A bit of fence and a stair case like yours over the tracks.Lots of track. |
