im sorry if i didnt mention light, idk if it matters but, its the opposite. aside from whether white is a color now, white is made of all colors in the spectrum. This is why when you shine a "white" light through a prism, you see a rainbow.Black is the absence of color..it absorbs all light and doesnt reflect any..look it up, i was told that both in physics and AP chem.
