Wow, i luv it. that was phenomenal. Those brothas got some rhythm. Their dances reminded me of so many cultures of people ova hear in the Americas for ex.( jamaicans,indigenous americans,blak women in a baptist church, cats just getting down in Harlem) i could go on. The more i c and learn about our culture the more i luv our beautiful blak people.

Things in Africa are not as simple as you think they are!So if you have absolutely no idea of indigenous African cultures, peoples, customs and history then I suggest you go and READ some books before you spill irresponsible and highly ignorant hate-speech like that!

Ignorant fool!Many of the Dogon's Muslim neighbours in West Africa also have their own ritual mask dances and secret society exhibitions; eg the Bambara, Mandinka, Dagomba, along with smaller mixed groups such as the Bobo or Nuni (Gurunsi).A significant group of Dogon profess Islamic belief while still practicing traditional religion!

People need to be careful connecting the Dogon to Egypt. I've read that Dogon origins were near the Niger River during the 10th to 13th centuries. Plus the Dogon and Egyptian languages belong to different language families and I don't think the Dogon use Egyptian Hieroglyphics.

Many speculate they may have Fled from Egyptto a new Desert of Bandiagara cliffs.The samecliffs that protected them from colonizationas well as Islamic convertion although manyDogon practice today like much of Mali does.

watch the symbol on the head of the dancers(3-E like).It is the same symbol witnessed on UFOS, the same symbol behind the throne of ancient king Minos at Krete,the same symbol from the roswell ruins video, on the greek word "ΕΛΕΦΘ3ΕΡΙΑ"(freedom)
