The original Cheeta from the 1930's Tarzan movies turned 75 this year. He is the oldest known living ape. We filmed his birthday and he is amazing. He lives in Palm Springs California

I one time saw him here from very far together with Clarence the cross eyed lion and Johnny Weismüller by a opening of a Supermarket in the sixties here in Belgium-Schoten, I never forgot it.Big hughs I hope he gets still many good years.

Maybe he doesn't get cake often, but I've seen him in pictures and video clips with a diet soda in his hand

Cheeta, If you are reading this....I love you man. Thanks for all the great movies. I hope you are enjoying retirement. You deserve it.

Interesting. I am interested in the documentary films you mentioned. Is there a website for purchase of these documentaries?

Cheeta actually lives with a friend of ours who is a relative of Cheeta's original owner (now deceased). He takes care of Cheeta and several other ex-show-biz primates. He is a good man. We create documentary films. This one was just for fun.

Wow. That is surprising to me since humans as they age lose strength but chimps and other animals are almost always in a prime state of physical fitness. One question though, does Cheeta reside with you all?
