If you pause it at 58 seconds, Thom has the most childlike look of euphoria on his face. One of the things that makes Radiohead's affect so dynamic is how Thom can guide a song melodically and vocally from a place of great sweetness to a place of menacing scariness only moments later, and then back again. Ya know how The Pixies made famous the loud/soft/loud dynamic? Radiohead sort of parallel that idea but with emotional affect. How deeply opposed emotions battling for a song's control.
