I'd love to see her make the World team in 2009 but I don't know if it's going to happen since this new system rewards triple/triples. I hate that it gives so much credit for the jumps and gives little to no credit for artistry.

I'm so happy to see her again this season and I hope she does better than last. I was really sad not to see her at worlds. She is one of my favourite skaters. Her spirals are so beautiful. Go Alissa!

I love how Alissa skates. She's magic, she has something, that I can't describe, but always moves me so much. I've looked for this purity and grace and spellbound for long time. I hope she will always be in this way. Don't change Alissa, never! I'm very very happy to watch you!

WOW. SO beautiful. Gorgeous program. Is she could just get the jumps right she could be the queen of US skating. I hope she has a wonderful season.

Such a calm performance! The music is just right for Alissa. I'm glad she is regaining confidence on the jumps, especially the lutz and axel. Good for her!
