Gotta love the Japanese. Its people are so devoted and original, or perhaps I should say 'different minded', than so many cultures, and in a hella good way!

YMO are also the same I'm afraid. Too much kit and no tunes that really stand out. I've been into Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Gary Numan, OMD, Howard Jones, Human League 78-80, Heaven 17 early eighties. Plus many others. The UK has the best history for Synth-Pop/Electro. The Sparks with Georgio Moroder did No.1 Song album in 79. That's the proper synth album from the states that got anywhere. Check out the band's I've mentioned.Modern bands include M83, The Preset's and Goldfrapp.
