Khan had the benefit of Alexander's history to adventure on. Great did not. Never losing as Khan did.

To me it seems plain stupid to reason "attacks in small numbers" as "resulting in being unable to conquer more lands". That just proves Genghis being smarter and a better leader to lead more men. What's more amazing is that Genghis recognized policies, organized his successors to grow after his death. Both which Alexander failed, instead his men were devastated, morale shattered by the end of his campaign. Mongols never seized after Genghis's death, he planned it all.
