in all airplanes but depênds for example B747 put 15 flaps for take off instead of 5 of the B737 xD
tommyA350 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The flaps will be extended more than 5 degrees. On a Boeing 747 for example the flap lever will usually be set to either 10 or 20 for takeoff.

Yes. Its not only normal but vital for nearly all airliners not just the big ones. The likely cause of the SpanAir crash in Madrid was because the flaps were not extended on take off.

During takeoff (especially on large jets) usually the flaps will be down up to a max of 5 degrees to help generate more lift needed for the ascend..yeah but when landing the flaps are more pronounced up till 30 degrees..

Why are the flaps down, during a take-off? Is that normal on A380's/Boeing 747's? I didn't know that...:P

Simple, camera video record the true sound while we in the plane did not notice. |
