Even if it is a dumb bomb, it will still fall normally. In this case when the bomb was dropped from the aircraft, the pylon stuck to the bomb which disrupted airflow.

It was an unguided dumb bomb, when launched the airflow catches them . Air Force did a test on it (That was the test, the bomb went over the bomb jet and into the Hawk fighter . That's why it was so close )
