Possibility and probability should both be considered. The F-16 is much more likely to win in most situations, given similar pilots.

What is the build-to-crash ratio for the other planes you compare it to? What sort of enviroment and types of missions are the F-16 used for? What type of maintaince and upgrades have all the users of the F-16 done? What have the service-life on the F-16 been compared the others?Well, take a look at these statistics, and you will see that the numbers for the F-16 ain't bad at all.Havn't checked, but estimate thare are more F-16's built than F15, F14 and F18 combined....
