wow, amazing. I will confirm that Brennan actually gave this affidavit, but it is amazing if true. Apparently, Scientology didn't fool the German government. I was told by my friend in Scientology years ago that Scientology was cloaked purposefully under the guise of religion.

you were quick to justify his actions, so he might as well be your pope. All religions are corrupt at the highest levels so scientology doesn't get a pass! Also, while the vatican paid out a very large sum of money as compensation, it was not even 0.01% of their wealth, and even paying this compensation doesn't excuse the pope from what evil has been done because of him, he had the power to stop any further abuse to most of those victims by simply following the law.

So shouting is bad but covering up and helping to perpetuate a cycle of sexual abuse against children for decades is absolutely fine? How wonderful it must be to be a catholic, to be able to justify child rape by comparing it to anger against adults, get your morals in order, your pope has no problem with priests raping children!

no but the current pope did hit (though rather mildly) a reporter who asked about the child abuse "scandal" (like this was the beginning of the churches paedophilia) and his part in helping to hush it up and move the priests to another parish where abuse would just continue! This was when he was just (archbishop? - I'm not sure his title at the time) ratzinger.
