i agree with you. in fact, i believe horowitz has created this as an epitome of this particular nocturne.i know that when i play it, i am careless and just plod my way through it, but when i heard this recording, i was just so stunned at how horowitz played this in such a beautiful and dreamy way!

In this composition you can hear the different between Horowitz and other pianists. This composition looks very easy to play, but no one can play it like Horowitz. I've been finding everyvhere, but I didnt found any better pereformance.

this is why classical music lives on. it has bean played for over 300 years and will be played for another 300 years. rap hip hop and pop will die out. Horowitz has a unique talent of making it sound as if your in a dream. i realize he edites some parts and i respect him for that because he makes it sound better. the way he plays from cresendo-dimunendo(think i spelled it wrong)forte-piano. you just cannot compare it to someone else. he plays the right tempo and sound at the right time.
