in order to concentrate the light to a point, incoming light has to be traveling perpendicular to the lens. Reflected light would come in at an angle, so the rays wouldn't converge. cool idea though!

If with the use of mirrors directing more sunlight into the lens would this increase temperature and intensety of concentrated light ?
