i'll help!!!!! not all dance teachers are that meanits not supposd to be like that. we're suppossed to push ourselves bc we want to, not bc we're scared not tostupid fatty. i'd like to see her do all that stuff

wow you worded that perfectly!!i love ballet, and my ballet teacher pushes us to the point where some of us cry because it hurts, but she is so nice!! we all love her!!!shes an amazing young dancer herslef (not so young...30's)and i have learned tons from her in the past 2 years shes been teaching at my studio.pushing is good. but only to a certian extent

well if you're not european...slavic more or less...it's hard to get sometimes...but hopefully more and more european teachers are nicer than this..and yes i've seen mean american teachers too

It's amazing how these things are happening everyday and most of us don't even know it exists...Those girls are really using up years of their lives possibly doing something which isn't going to bring them anywhere and yet they do it and push through the pain...wow.

I disagree with that completely! It depends on the person themselves, you have really sweet European teachers and horrible American teachers too you know. Just to point that out to you.

ppl r meant to go beyond their limits. the girls like to overcome themselves, to accomplish something. it's like a drug! Ballet requries alot of strength not only physical strength but also emotional nerve. the movie ends w/ Oksanna telling us that it was worth it.

Ballet takes a lot of strength not only physically but also emotional nerve. the teachers are telling them the truth. the world is not kind. the movie ends w/ Oksanna telling us that it was worth it.
