I think anyone would know that the user experience in reading and flipping the pages of a real book is not just turning one page but the convenience of being able to flip through many pages back and forth easily using one, two or many fingers. Further, one can hold the book in any orientation one wishes. Any kind of computer simulated page turning will not provide the same experience if you are doing just one page turn at a time.

Almost everything she said is either obsolete or of such an esoteric academic nature that no one in the real world will care a bit.In reality, current readers using e-paper are far more convenient and environmentally sound that trying to carry around even three or four paper books. Almost all new readers can hold hundreds or even thousands of ebooks. Case closed

The biggest problem with reading electronic documents is getting eye strain from staring at digital screens. E ink makes viewing documents much more comfortable, however e paper can not currently be quickly animated due to it's slow refresh rate. Given the option of the two I wouldn't give a ** about pretty turning pages.
