YES! You are allowed to ride trkes in California. All of our trikes can be licensed in all 50 states as motorcycles.

A guy on a chopper trike nearby died merging onto I71S from 70E in Columbus a few years ago. The front tire hit a slick spot and he lost control.

Indeed, and while at this moment a bit out of my price range) have you guys priced a new Harley or any other custom bike (2-3 wheeled, or) even cars lately a new one non-custom is not cheep (and don't look or handle anywhere near as good). If you want something nice you have to pay for it. If you can't wait till you can or get something else.
